Your Day-to-Day:
* Conduct independent analysis and spearhead the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of sophisticated technical products.
* Duties involve setting daily operational objectives for individuals or small teams, mentoring engineers, and leading by example to ensure comprehension and adherence to policies, practices, and procedures. Regular communication with customers is essential for understanding their needs, explaining methodologies, and proactively identifying potential improvements they haven't requested. Strong communication skills are crucial for internal reporting as well as representing Westinghouse to clients.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
* Extensive understanding of engineering processes along with the capability to spearhead complex problem-solving. Expertise in ASME Section III design and fatigue, Section XI Fracture Mechanics, and Finite Element Analysis is highly preferred.
* Ability to promote cost-effective, high-quality technical solutions while being mindful of project budgets.
* Typically possess over 10 years of related experience.
