About the role:

As a Principal Engineer Citrix you will be responsible for working with our team in troubleshooting, planning and installation of Infrastructure Systems in our global environment. Managing Citrix environments: Installing, configuring, and managing Citrix software, including XenDesktop, XenApp, and Netscaler.

You will report to the Platform Services Manager and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting users: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and helping with escalations

Maintain systems: Monitoring system performance, ensuring network functionality, and restoring computers

Documenting: Create documentation for configuration management processes

Collaborating: Work with partners to identify requirements and develop solutions

Provide operational support: Supporting virtual systems and providing operational requests

Maintain compliance: Ensure patch and vulnerability compliance across the virtual desktop ecosystem

Analyze software: Analyzing the effectiveness of Citrix software for the business

Create training plans: Creating training plans for Citrix software

Improve systems: Optimizing systems for Citrix configuration, deployment or maintenance

Other responsibilities include Installing and removing hardware and software, conducting tests and correcting malfunctions, reviewing change requests, maintaining user request records, and Contributing to the development of installation procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related experience

Understanding and experience in Windows, Citrix and VMware.

Experience in managing small projects

5+ years’ experience hands on support and troubleshooting of Infrastructure Systems.
