Job Title: Nexthink Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Data Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Nexthink Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Nexthink Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform and its functionalities, including dashboards, investigations, and campaigns. The role involves designing and customizing dashboards and reports, performing data analysis to generate actionable insights, and collaborating with IT & Business teams to further the maturity & usage of Nexthink inside R1 RCM.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Insights:
Use NQL (Nexthink Query Language) to create and run queries that analyze device and user performance metrics. Generate reports and visualizations to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for IT optimization. Analyze DEX scores, application performance, and system stability to provide actionable recommendations. Ability to create custom scripts for remote actions (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Batch)Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Configure and monitor Nexthink alerts, dashboards, and investigations to proactively identify IT issues. Investigate root causes of device and application performance issues, working closely with IT support teams. Collaborate with teams to resolve issues related to network connectivity, application reliability, and resource utilization.Reporting and Visualization:
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or other tools to share insights with IT and business stakeholders. Provide regular updates on key metrics such as device performance, user satisfaction, and compliance Build and maintain visualizations that clearly communicate IT performance trends and impacts.Collaboration and Support:
Work with IT and business teams to align Nexthink analysis with organizational goals. Assist in training end-users and IT teams on using Nexthink effectively for troubleshooting and monitoring. Partner with senior engineers to provide data insights that support larger IT initiatives and strategies.
Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
Regularly review and refine Nexthink monitors and dashboards to improve performance tracking. Analyze data to identify opportunities to enhance device reliability, application performance, and user experience. Support compliance efforts by providing detailed reports for audits and investigations.
Experience Requirements:
3-5 + years of experience in IT analytics, reporting, or similar roles. Experience working in IT operations, service desk, or end-user computing environments is a plus. Demonstrated success in delivering dashboards or visualizations that drove key decisions or improved business outcomes. Hands-on experience with Nexthink or comparable digital employee experience platforms is a plus.Education and Certification:
Certifications in Nexthink or other data visualization/analytics tools are advantageous. Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management frameworks. Understanding of digital employee experience concepts.Soft Skills:
