Principal Enterprise Architect (Remote)

Job Summary

Rich’s is growing our Enterprise Architecture team. We seek a collaborative, self-directed, and globally focused individual to join our team to support Rich Product’s corporate global growth strategy.  In this role, you will routinely work with leaders from across the globe and at World Headquarters (WHQ) to create new solutions that meet business needs.

The Enterprise Architect reports to the VP, Chief Enterprise Architect, in the role you will play in developing and implementing our organization's technology strategy to support business objectives and drive digital transformation. You will provide leadership and guidance in the planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-wide technology solutions. 

This position requires deep customer-focused thinking and the ability to be hands-on and make decisions fast. You will significantly influence our strategy for bringing in new technology platforms, tools, and languages/frameworks. We are looking at self-motivated individuals who are highly detail-oriented and take pride in their deliverables.

The ideal candidates will have extensive experience envisioning and contributing to the technology roadmap and IT strategy, a deep understanding of software architecture principles, and a strong background successfully in large, global, and complex technology ecosystems.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

•    Develop and communicate the organization's enterprise architecture strategy and vision.
•    Proven ability to quickly comprehend and adopt new technologies by doing technology POCs and Pilots to prove the business value, formalize it as enterprise standards, and build reference architectures.
•    Drive the overall roadmap and strategic vision for the modern architecture and experiences, ensuring a robust product roadmap to support digital solutions strategy.
•    Communicate key business benefits and implications of technology decisions and outcomes to business portfolio leaders and senior executive management.
•    Works with IS Business partners to align architecture roadmaps with business strategy and technology delivery plans.
•    Be the Architecture thought leader and trusted go-to partner for Product and Platform Leadership across the organization, recommending innovative solutions to improve live and new system architectures.
•    Lead & manage the EA application portfolio for Rich’s. Promote and align stakeholders to maintain business and technology inventory.
•    Devises and presents complex business cases and program release plans to senior management with priority recommendations to maintain and evolve Rich's architecture roadmap.
•    Designing the technology stack and engineering principles for new digital platforms.
•    Identifying competitors, industry leaders, peers and evaluate their use of technology relative to the enterprise; make practical recommendations on continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Required:
•    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
•    Minimum 15 years of experience in software development and at least 10 - 12 years of experience within enterprise architecture
•    Experience developing strategic technology plans and roadmaps, including business architecture, value streams, capability maps & customer journeys
•    Ability to present and communicate business and technical concepts
•    Experience leading efforts to create technological solutions and architectures impacting critical areas of the business
•    Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
•    Ability to think critically and solve problems
•    Demonstrated technology skills across multiple IT domains (e.g., application, security, infrastructure)
•    Have experience in modern data architecture practices, patterns, and standards
•    Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems
•    Working knowledge about supply chain and commercial business processes
•    Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level
•    Experience in enterprise architecture or application architecture, application development and systems management

Preferred:
•    Exposure to data AI/ML transformations to harness value from data
•    Exposure to cloud/IoT technologies

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$136,720.00 - $205,080.00
