Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an Environmental Engineer with 10+ years or experience that exhibits great problem-solving skills, a “can do” approach and thrives in a high energy environment. In this role, you will work as part of a team of experts, supporting various environmental projects, that includes soil, sediment and groundwater remediation, from initial investigations through construction and site closeouts. Primarily scopes of work will be associated with former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites. You will be based out of our Bridgewater, NJ office, however willingness to travel to supplier, client, site investigation locations or construction site locations within the New York City area is expected and will be required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of related work experience. Master's degree in Engineering strongly preferred. Environmental focus is requiredProfessional Engineer registration (or ability/plan to obtain within 12 months) is strongly preferred.Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are requireMust possess a thorough knowledge of MGP investigation and remediation, current applicable remedial technologies, and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projectMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
