A Kforce client is looking to hire a Principal Estimator. This is with a robust national Construction Company that supports a variety of government and federal development projects. The role is based fully on-site in Marlborough, MA. Summary: The Principal Estimator will lead and support capital construction projects, including leading project estimators, reviewing proposals, and securing vendors and subcontractors. Additional job functions include: * Managing Request for Proposals (RFP's) - including reviewing for accuracy, identifying potential pre-construction issues, and ensuring compliance * As a Principal Estimator, you will review and analyze subcontractor bids with estimators, prepare projects with all solicitation information, and distribute preliminary design information * Partner with Project owners with providing guidance, budget breakdowns, and oversight of work assignments * Prepare price proposals, obtain bonds, and ensure development of awarded projects
