About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a results-oriented Principal Financial Analyst to join the Global Supply Chain Finance team. This role requires an acquisition financial analyst with the expertise to bridge the gap between the financial accounting methods of acquisition sites and Boston Scientific’s established practices. Additionally, the analyst will provide real-time financial analysis and collaborate with site leads and the integration team to ensure that deal model targets are successfully met.

Your responsibilities will include:
Acquaint yourself with the financials of the acquired company and align them with Boston Scientific's financial reporting standards Assist the site in developing a comprehensive financial package that supports site operations Serve as the primary financial partner for site Operations Mentor and onboard local Operations Finance teams, familiarizing them with Boston Scientific practices, procedures, and forums, including the SI&OP and AOP Process Evaluate the Finance Organizational structure and roles & responsibilities, providing recommendations for enhancing efficiency Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the Forecast processes Collaborate in defining the new Standard Cost, ensuring alignment with the operations strategy and supporting receiving sites Support the determination of Transfer, Outsourcing, and Insourcing Costs, ensuring alignment with the operations strategy and coordination with receiving sites and the outsourcing team Share responsibility for determining Integration Costs in accordance with the integration strategy
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field 5+ years of relevant Accounting/ Finance experience, ideally in a global manufacturing organization Very strong financial/data analysis skills; strong ability to problem solve and draw conclusions from data while maintaining data accuracy Ability to build relationships and have influence with key stakeholders Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously and act in a consultative role Exceptional organizational & time management skills are crucial; environment is fast-paced and multi-tasking is essential
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field Experience with SAP and Hyperion Planning Proven ability to work under pressure and meet critical financial deadlines
