The selected candidate will support FPGA designs through all phases of development. The candidate will be expected to perform activities including assisting in requirements generation and design architecture, ownership of RTL coding, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, basic test bench development, lab testing and debug, and product support. The selected candidate will have the opportunity, to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format.
The duties assigned to this senior engineering position, will include the following:
+ Assist in translating system requirements into compliant firmware based designs.
+ Architect complex solutions using SystemVerilog/UVM and/or VHDL
+ Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting.
+ Integrate Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment.
It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ 6 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree (less years with advanced degree)
+ Experience in FPGA (preferred) or ASIC Design / Development
+ VHDL (preferred) or Verilog HDL coding
+ Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado or Intel/Altera Quartus
+ Digital simulation using Modelsim/Questa
+ Significant experience with static timing analysis and clock domain crossing techniques
+ Experience with high-speed interfaces like SERDES, PCIe, DDR2/3/4, LVDS
+ Familiarity with revision control (GIT, CVS, Clearcase, Subversion, etc.)
+ Strong debug and problem solving skills
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
+ Experience mentoring junior FPGA engineers.
+ Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Experience modifying and enhancing legacy FPGA designs
Some Experience generating scripts (Perl, Tcl, Python, shell, etc.)
Experience with creating FPGA designs based on Matlab/Simulink models
Experience in leading a design team
Experience in hardware design and hands-on lab debug
Experience working with FPGA design verification teams
Some experience with data conversion techniques (ADC/DAC) a plus
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
