BAE Systems Digital Architecture Team (DAT) is looking to hire a Frontend Designer to join our team. We are responsible for building microservice cloud infrastructure and data collection software. Our team built a highly scalable containerized gRPC microservices platform and micro-frontends web applications. We are looking for a talented Web Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building web applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to develop high-quality web applications that meets team standards. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Experience: + 3 years of professional experience in web application development. + Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. + Strong experience with React.js and its core principles. + Solid understanding of Next.js framework and server-side rendering. + Experience with building and consuming gRPC microservices, and Protobuf. + Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes cluster, Helm charts, Ingress, and containerized deployments. Skills: + Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Context API. + Understanding of asynchronous programming and Promises. + Proficient with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines. + Knowledge of front-end build tools like webpack and Babel etc. + Experience with Test frameworks such as Jest and Jasmine or Mocha (optional). + identify, document, and the track software defects using issues tracking tools like JIRA.
