Expected salary range of **$126,900 to $141,000** , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Provide expertise on development, implementation and adherence to regulatory requirements applicable for Constellation Energy Generation’s (CEG) overall generation compliance program (ISO, NERC and Regional Reliability Standards, etc). Must have a strong technical understanding of generation compliance requirements (i.e. ISO/NERC/Federal/State) including common industry practices for meeting compliance requirements, and the ability to work independently across the organization and industry to ensure CEG’s processes/procedures are current. Will facilitate internal processes to manage and obtain stakeholder to ensure organizational alignment on issues while participating in the development of CEG positions. Provide oversight to CEG Power and Nuclear generating units to ensure their adherence to CEG’s Generation Compliance programs including CEG’s NERC Reliability Standards Compliance Program, NERC and Regional entities. Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Plans & the Wholesale Generation Compliance Program. Manage compliance issues and track compliance activities/engagements. Where necessary will recommend corrective actions to address inadequacies that are discovered during assessments, including recommendations that are administrative or functional in nature. Will ensure timely execution of necessary notifications or compliance submission, along with facilitation of communications on important regulatory activities to all stakeholders. Will represent CEG on industry committees and taskforces by advocating for change or improvements of generation compliance rules within the industry.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Evaluate, determine, and report compliance through applicable CEG procedures, standards and requirements. Recommend enhancements to current practices and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
+ Responsible for evaluation, tracking and reporting of CEG compliance withISO, NERC Regional Reliability Entity Standards and any other external agency as required.
+ Responsible for performing self-assessments of CEG compliance to procedures, policies and actions taken as result of internal investigations, RCI, CAPE or Condition Report corrective actions.
+ Create mitigation plans based on Self Reports and/or Self Logs and monitor the status of mitigating steps through action Tracking and Quarterly status as requested on each Mitigation Plan with Regional Entities and other regulatory entities.
+ Track time driven submittals (monthly, quarterly, annual) for CEG units to comply with all applicable generation compliance requirements.
+ Ensure necessary work activities for Generation Compliance are initiated in the applicable system, executed using procedures and tracked in systems with documented completion evidence.
+ Provide analysis and support to leadership for the Generation Compliance programs (i.e. NERC Compliance Program/Wholesale Generation Compliance Program) including ongoing reporting of performance improvements, organizational initiatives and compliance related communications.
+ Lead/participate in internal/external compliance engagements, including audits. Plan, prepare and execute audit tasks and support auditteams.
+ Represent CEG on ISO, NERC and regional entity committees or other industry forums to facilitate benchmarking and continuous improvement.
+ Perform role of Stakeholder for design changes performed at CEG units. Includes design change reviews for Generation Compliance (NERC/ISO impact). Provide direction for tracking impacted items.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field and 8-10 years’ experience working in any combination of electric utility rates, regulatory, legal, transmission planning, operations or financial disciplines OR in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience is required.
+ Working knowledge of NERC, FERC, RF, MRO, Texas RE, NPCC, WECC, and SERC
+ Knowledge with one or more control areas/RTOs/ISOs: AESO, BPA, ERCOT, GSOC, ISO-NE, MISO, NYISO, PJM, SOCO, and SPP markets in the context of the wholesale business.
+ Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Proven ability to perform in a high-performance culture with tight timelines.
+ Extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to think independently and creatively.
+ Demonstrated ability to build consensus and establish trust
+ Demonstrated business acumen and an ability to work through ambiguity

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Master’s degree in engineering, MBA or Law Degree
+ Knowledge of FERC and NERC regulations and relevant statutory provisions
+ Experience with ISO & RTO rules and the associated Market Participant stakeholder process
+ 5 Years’ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NERC and Regional Entity policies, organization and procedures
+ Management or other team-lead experience
+ Energy Management System or Generation Control Systems Experience.
+ Certifications: NERC, PJM Generation/Transmission
+ Transmission experience
+ Dispatching experience
