**Job Description** The Principal System Administrator (HPC) must possess the following skills and experience: 8-13 years equivalent experience (8 years demonstrable experience with a degree, or 13 without) as a System Administrator experience and support of large client-server based IT enterprise. An industry recognized professional certification may substitute as one year of experience. Specific responsibilities include installation, configuration, tuning, and support of the following: Multi-vendor servers running a plethora of COTS, open source and in-house applications to accommodate HPC division IT support requirements. Multi-vendor servers running Redhat or Suse with direct attached, FC SAN storage or SSDs. Distributing computing tools such as RES, LSF and SLURM HPC farm systems, HPC MPP clustered systems, Front End servers of SPDs. IBM or HP Blade servers with FC/SAS/Network back end Multi-vendor file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre Pre-Factory testing, factory testing, system integration and acceptance testing during the purchase process of HPC systems. IAT Level II Certification Required **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $128700 - $244500 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
