About the Role
We are seeking a Principal HR Business Partner, eager for a challenging opportunity to make a difference through influencing and partnering with the business to achieve results. More specifically, this role will work closely with Functional Stakeholders supporting our BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) Coal Operations.
The role provides advice to Senior Leaders on effective people processes to influence the culture and performance of our business. You will shape the people strategy for BMA to ensure we have the right talent, capability and culture to support exceptional performance.
Key responsibilities include:
You will have extensive HR experience, with the ability to coach and support all leadership levels of an organisation. You will have experience working in complex environments and a passion for empowering leaders to build a high performing culture.
You will be innovative in your thinking to shape the future direction of our organisation and the future work of our employees. You will be collaborative and build strong partnerships across all of the functional HR teams.
You will be approachable, resilient, agile to change, have an eye for detail and results driven. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Additionally, you will hold a formal qualification in a Business, HR, Psychology or a related discipline, along with 10+ years HR (or related) experience across various industries.
Our HR Business Partners are based in our Brisbane office; however site travel will be required from time to time, which means a Class C Driver License is essential.
Location: Brisbane.
