As the Principal Infrastructure Deputy Delivery Lead, you will be leading a multi-disciplined team through Site Deployment/Delivery planning, implementation, integration, and test efforts, all while meeting or exceeding scheduled milestones for a build out of a next generation On-Prem, cloud-based, Infrastructure Service. In this role you will be responsible for management of cost, schedule, and technical performance to ensure products, systems and services are delivered in accordance with the scope of the contract requirements. Lastly, you will work directly with Program leadership, Systems and Software Teams, other IPTLs, and external stakeholders to execute and support the program’s platform needs on a multi-million-dollar contract.

What You Will Do

Plan, staff and report status on deliverables including associated CDRLsDevelop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for deliverables within assigned CLINsAdhere to the program risk management process to include soliciting inputs to identify / mitigate risks and identify / capture opportunitiesEnsure compliance with the program’s discrepancy / problem reporting and review processDevelop cost estimates, schedule definition and technical plans for all proposed Site Deployment/Delivery scope within the IPT’s CLIN for task orders and estimates submitted to the customerManage labor costs, delivery schedules and CPT coordination to ensure infrastructure deliveries are in accordance with the scope of the contract requirementsParticipate in program risk and opportunity management process by identifying risks and opportunities and then developing and actively managing the mitigation/capture plansYou will collaborate with Customer

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of systems engineering experienceExperience with flow-down, design, development and testing of systemsExperience working in a technical environment interfacing with systems, software, or hardware engineering disciplinesExperience in developing, implementing, integrating, and validating HW/SW and/or system architectures, concepts, and constructsActive and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance is required on Day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Exceptional engineering analytical and decision-making skills with strong ability to be creative and innovative in designing solutionsExcellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate program status, issues and resolution plans across all major stakeholders including senior leadership, customers, and major subcontractorsExperience developing and operating with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)Experience in analysis, modeling, systems engineering architecture and lifecycle development, requirement development and/or requirement verificationExperience leading and training technical teams of junior to mid-level engineers and analysts and ability to balance development priorities with near/long term program objectivesBOE Certification or proposal experienceExperience in giving technical briefs or presentations

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
