Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Lab Operations Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This position will be located in Edwards AFB, CA.
The selected candidate will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. The selected candidate will interact with users, evaluate vendor products, and make recommendations to purchase hardware and software along with coordinating installation and providing backup recovery. This individual will also develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties for the selected candidate may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Cyber Operations supports multiple shifts. Training will occur on first shift; however, the successful candidate will support second shift. Additional compensation applies to alternate shifts.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)Minimum of 5 years with a of Cyber and/or System Administration experience or of 3 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) or 0 years with a PhD Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)Current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification, such as Security+ CESystems Administration experience, to include Windows, Linux, and VM environmentsCybersecurity/Information Assurance experienceMust have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needsMust be willing to work various shifts depending on the business needs: 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) 1st shift; 4x10 (Mon-Thurs) 2nd shift; 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sa, Su) 2nd shift; 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sa, Su) 1st shiftPreferred Qualifications:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
