Your Day-to-Day:

As a New Product Process Development (NPPD) Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for manufacturing implementation of new products and performance-driven process changes.  Related functions include:

Work with product development teams for manufacturing implementation of new product designs Provide cost and schedule estimates in support of development program scoping and eventual quotation Work with the Product Design and Product Assurance Engineers to ensure manufacturability and inspectability of new designs Review product drawings to ensure Design for Manufacturability principals are incorporated and the new designs are compatible with existing manufacturing processes Develop and qualify processes, tooling, and equipment for new product designs to ensure long term manufacturability and process yields Fabricate components in support of new product testing Coordinate release and/or revision of manufacturing and product assurance documentation, MES routings, and software in preparation for test component fabrication and production startup Assure processes developed for new products are capable of meeting all design requirements

 

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering  Minimum 8 years applicable experience
