Principal Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and visionary Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead our R&D efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of performance and quality. Responsibilities: + Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems for innovative R&D projects. + Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. + Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and risk assessments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Develop and implement advanced engineering techniques and methodologies to drive innovation. + Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements. + Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. + Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion. Requirements: + Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on R&D. + Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects and developing innovative mechanical solutions. + Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices. + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Effective communication and leadership abilities. + Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/yr. 3 weeks of vacation after 90 days, 3 PTO’s day per calendar year, 10 paid holidays, eligible for healthcare benefits the first of the month following your start date.
