Principal Mid-Corp Relationship Manager
**About this role:** We are seeking a Principal Relationship Manager for our SE Mid Corp division, part of our Commercial Bank at Wells Fargo. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at www.wellsfargojobs.com . \#commercialbanking **In this role, you will:** + Lead coverage for Mid-Corporate clients as a strategic relationship manager to generate new business through expansion of existing relationships and conversion of prospects + Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines including full adoption of relevant systems and dashboards that drive Customer Relationship Management + Partner with stakeholders across the bank to originate, structure and execute transactions of varying complexity, including but not limited to commercial lending, acquisition finance and bridge underwriting, investment banking and capital markets transactions, treasury management, derivative hedging and other non-credit related products + Coordinate, coach, and navigate deal team dynamics through proactive, organized, and execution-minded leadership to further Wells Fargo’s ability to compete and win in the market + Strategically lead across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control. Adeptly resolve any client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s risk and business objectives + Represent Wells Fargo externally at civic, professional, and bank-sponsored events. Where applicable consider serving on relevant non-profit boards and participating in professional organization + Invest in junior talent by implementing a regular cadence of objective setting, coaching/mentoring, performance evaluation and assigning projects designed to enhance skill development **Required Qualifications:** + 10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Account relationship management experience + Experience originating, structuring and executing bank lending transactions or other credit related products for critical or complex clients + Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management and complex credit executions related to acquisition financing and bridge underwriting + Strong knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms and collateral requirements + Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products and credit practices + Strong knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets + Strong credit analysis skills + Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills + Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit policy, compliance and underwriting requirements + Leadership experience including mentoring and coaching + Sales and marketing leadership experience and ability to develop and execute market strategies and goals + Underwriting experience involving advanced commercial and/or specialty group relationship portfolio credit + Demonstrated experience building partnerships and collaborating with other product businesses **Job Expectations:** + Registration for FINRA Series 63 and 79 must be completed within a 90 or 180-day period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. + For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required. + FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
