**I. Job Summary**
Work with customers and architects to implement MuleSoft's CloudHub or Anypoint platform to solve business challenges. Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment using Mulesoft development tools. Work with other data & integration team members to help grow MuleSoft knowledge within the company. Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments.
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other ancillary duties may be assigned.
+ Demonstrate expertise in DataWeave, MuleSoft's powerful transformation language, to efficiently manipulate and transform data within the integration platform.
+ Utilize design patterns for MuleSoft and webMethods integrations to create efficient and scalable integration solutions.
+ Work with 3rd Party MuleSoft Anypoint Connectors to integrate various systems and services seamlessly.
+ Demonstrated expertise by holding an architect role in multiple complex deployments involving MuleSoft, showcasing the ability to design and lead the successful implementation of sophisticated integration projects.
+ Employ expertise in both MuleSoft On-Premises and Cloud solutions to design and implement integration architectures.
+ Utilize experience with message queueing design patterns to design, implement, and optimize efficient message-based communication systems within MuleSoft integration projects.Integrate Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications, and legacy systems to ensure smooth data flow between different platforms.
+ Develop integration flows using Mule Anypoint Studio, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
+ Deploy and manage Mule flows to CloudHub, ensuring reliable and high-performance integration deployments.
+ Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices with MuleSoft for streamlined development and delivery processes.
+ Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve complex integration issues promptly.
+ Methodically identify and resolve problems, tracing their origins to provide effective solutions.
+ Implement development best practices in MuleSoft and adhere to security best practices to maintain the integrity and security of integration solutions.
+ Utilize contract languages like RAML and OAS for documenting APIs and ensuring clarity and consistency in integration interfaces.
+ Apply strong infrastructure knowledge, including servers, clusters, load balancers, firewall rules, SSL, VPC, VPN, and certificates, to architect reliable and secure integration solutions.
+ Design integrations using both MuleSoft and AWS services to leverage the capabilities of both platforms effectively.Design Integrations with Mulesoft and AWS services.
+ Work with AWS SQS, Amazon MQ, and SNS to integrate AWS services into the overall architecture
**III. Supervisory Responsibilities**
Will coach and mentor less-experienced analysts and act as team leader on highly complicated systems projects.
**IV. Qualifications**
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
+ Experience: Ten (10) years of previous experience required (in addition to education requirement).
+ Preferred Experience:
+ Ten years implementing integration projects
+ Ten years of MuleSoft experience
+ Two years webMethods experience using Integration server, broker, Enterprise Gateway, and various adapters like JDBC, AS400, etc.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
+ Preferred: MuleSoft Developer or Integrations Architect certification
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Technically advanced knowledge or in-depth skills in one or more of the following is required:
+ Significant knowledge of project management/change management in regard to acquisition/development life cycles.
+ Systems development, implementation, upgrades and analyses.
+ QA testing, catalyst or unified business modeling, system design and analysis.
+ Knowledge of enterprise coding standards.
+ Hands on experience in writing highly complex code.
+ Ability to perform code reviews.
+ Knowledge of software methodologies.
+ Ability to learn new and emerging technologies.
+ Ability to lead a group to consensus, solve problems, and accomplish tasks.
+ Ability to mentor and train less knowledgeable peers and individuals.

D. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities that Contribute to Success
May require technically advanced or in-depth skills in one or more of the following:
+ AWS expertise in Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Amazon MQ, WAF, Secrets Manager, etc.
