About the Opportunity  

We are looking for talented engineers and analysts to join the Nuclear and Thermal Analysis team in our Nuclear Power business.

Work primarily involves support to the UK nuclear energy sector but may also include opportunities in the broader nuclear industry, other advanced engineering sectors or nuclear elsewhere in the world.

You will have a good understanding of various reactor technologies and experience within an engineering consultancy or nuclear licensees, ideally within the civil nuclear sector.

You will also have a sound understanding of a niche physics discipline, such as reactor physics, criticality or thermal hydraulics and the ability to solve complex problems from first principles.

The ability to assimilate, analyse and provide judgements on complex technical issues clearly and concisely. Knowledge of various reactor technologies including PWR (AP1000 and EPR), BWR, AGR, and SMR. Experience of undertaking physics assessments for civil nuclear power technologies. Experience of bid writing or assessment and associated commercial awareness.
