Principal Process Design Engineer
Description Lead and supervise technology development and engineering design for downstream separation applications involving chemical and fuel product recovery. Lead process synthesis, simulation and scale-up design, equipment selection, and process economics for downstream separation applications based on carbon dioxide conversion technologies. Support scientists and engineers in R&D for separation technology development, as well as invent/develop new separation technologies. Partner closely with in-house Engineering team members to oversee full engineering package development and EPCs for front-end engineering activities. Perform data analysis, presenting findings and recommendations in oral presentations and/or written reports. Manage projects within cost, time, quality, and process safety constraints. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering design standards/guidelines, as well as environmental, health, and safety regulations. Skills PFD, P&ID, process economics, Aspen Plus, HYSYS Top Skills Details PFD,P&ID,process economics Additional Skills & Qualifications • Masters degree or PhD preferred • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credentials • Work experience as a process engineer within a technology development or EPC company • Operational experience of large scale production plants Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
