Principal Process Engineer

Wood is recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer to support the Technology and Consulting business, with expertise in Chemical technologies. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week. Limited travelling will be required, predominantly for Client’s alignment meetings.

The Role

The role will report to the Senior Manager of Process & Chemicals Technical Consulting business line in the Milan office, which executes activities ranging from pre-feasibility studies to basic design and pre-FEED, in various market sectors, including both the traditional sectors and, predominantly, the Energy Transition markets, like Renewable Energy, Carbon Capture, Biofuels, Blue and Bio-hydrogen, E-fuels, etc.  

A key focus for the role will be the technical delivery in the Chemicals sector, more specifically on Ammonia and Methanol production technologies..

As a Principal Process Engineer you will provide technology expertise within Technical Consulting relating to the preparation of proposals and execution of studies and projects in the Chemicals market sector .

Focusing on technical project delivery, you will be a key member to develop the technoeconomic solution that guides your client to successfully achieve the next stage in their decision gate process.
