Principal Product Designer (UX/UI)

We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer (UX/UI) in the UX Design Center of Excellence to:

• strategize, sketch, and design new products and features across multiple product teams
• plan and facilitate ideation workshops and conduct usability testing to align the product vision and fully understand user needs
• translate user requirements and research into tangible design concepts to bring a product concept to life quickly via persona creation, journey mapping, storyboarding and other user-centered design thinking methods
• feel equally comfortable sketching and wireframing design solutions as you are making UI and data visualizations beautiful and compelling
• be an advocate for our design system and help develop scalable patterns and components that follow universal design principles for accessibility best practices
• work closely with cross-functional agile team members to iteratively improve digital products and experiences
• provide mentorship and coaching to other designers on our team, as well as being a strong evangelist for the business value of design across Group Functions at UBS

• New York: the salary range for this role is $176000 to $229000

The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
