We are seeking a creative and experienced Principal, Product Development Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful release of NVIDIA's board and system products to high volume manufacturing. You will play a key role in releasing NVIDIA's designed board and System products to high volume manufacturing. You will also represent Product Operations Engineering during the early planning stages of MFG Test Solution, and align on production release requirements.
What you'll be doing:
+ Define manufacturing hardware test solutions that translate into methodologies and processes applicable across Board and System product segments.
+ Write product architecture specifications for new designs and define system-level requirements and specifications for server products for ARM and x86 based solutions.
+ Develop test strategies for new product features including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures and test equipment.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Thermal, and Test Engineers) to drive product DFX requirements, factory production release requirements for Test Fixture.
+ Provide supports for Test Fixture HW development and validation
+ Collaborate with internal and external partners to debug Board and System level issues, including HW Design, Quality, Software Development
+ Communicate the end-to-end test manufacturing process verification status, from board to system, and summarize data for functional (SME) teams to drive resolution on observed issues.
+ Collect all relevant data and collaborate with the Cross Functional teams to ensure production release in our quality/PLM systems.
+ Proactively identify manufacturability risk areas, recommend required verification data, and drive mitigation plans.
+ Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to improve production efficiency, and mentor and develop engineers within your team.
What we need to see:
+ BSME/BSEE or equivalent experience.
+ 15+ years of relevant experience
+ Extensive experience in HW design analysis, prototype bring-up, failure verification and manufacturing test support.
+ Extensive experience in high volume board and System manufacturing process verification.
+ Strong understanding of board and system manufacturing test processes, quality systems, and risk mitigation strategies.
+ Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical information clearly.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
+ Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.

The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
