More About You

You'll define and lead our enterprise-wide security strategy across our SaaS platform, balancing robust protection with seamless user experience. You'll own the security roadmap, identify emerging market trends, and translate complex security requirements into product innovations. In this strategic role, you'll collaborate with executive leadership to shape our security posture while ensuring our products maintain the highest standards of customer trust.

Own and drive the holistic security product strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with company vision

Lead market research on emerging security technologies and translate trends into competitive advantages

Define, prioritize, and champion security initiatives across IAM, Data security, and DLP domains

Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to cross-functional teams on security best practices

Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop security architecture and implementation strategies

Build consensus among executives and stakeholders on security priorities and resource allocation

Represent the company's security strategy to key enterprise clients and industry forums

Mentor junior product managers on security principles and best practices

Drive strategic partnerships with security vendors and industry alliances

On Your First Day, We'll Expect You to Have:

8+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years specifically in security products or features.

Demonstrated expertise in one or more security domains: IAM(Authentication, Authorization/RBAC/ABAC), Data Security, DLP

Deep understanding of enterprise security needs

Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-grade security capabilities in SaaS products

Strategic thinking with ability to balance security requirements with business objectives

Experience influencing executive decision-making and driving cross-functional initiatives

Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex security concepts to varied audiences

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (advanced degree preferred)

It's Great, but Not Required, if You Have:

A background in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

Experience working with zero-trust architecture

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $190,400 - $253,800

Zone B: $171,300 - $228,400

Zone C: $158,000 - $210,700

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
