Principal Product Manager

Who you’ll be working with

We ideate, create, and coordinate. We analyze, strategize, organize, and prioritize. We bridge the communication channel between the client and our project team. We chart the course and navigate the product roadmap sprint by sprint. Some of us are product owners. Some of us are scrum masters. Many of us wear multiple hats and do whatever’s needed to deliver successful projects.

What you’ll be doing

Act as a floating product strategist to define the long term vision and strategy for new client engagements. Lead discovery work for strategic engagements including research activities, market and competitive analysis,  innovation workshops, product discovery, and oversee conceptual prototyping.  Lead strategic planning workshops to achieve technical and business goals. Use discovery outputs to develop outcome oriented product roadmaps and pair up with PMs to perform continuous refinement sessions. Measure and analyze product performance for released products. Account growth and upselling including expansion of existing and new engagements. Account oversight including delivery and escalation management. Develop go-to-market approaches with blended capabilities and solution work to grow our business  Own pre-sales activities including understanding prospective client business/product needs, proposal development, and driving the opportunity process. Mentor and coach a combination of mid-level and senior product managers. Work with cross-departmental leaders across Design, Eng, PMO, and Operations to execute existing and new company level initiatives and process improvements.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

MUST have client facing experience. Eight (8)+ years of relevant Product experience, with at least five (5) years spent in the consulting industry. Experience leading and managing programs and/or projects, including mission critical programs, IT systems implementation, solutions development. People management experience. A track record of managing large-scale, complex strategy and execution engagements. Proven ability to establish, maintain, and grow executive level relationships. High energy, team player, creative thinker, and strategic influencer. Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams. Maturity and good judgment.  Skilled in negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, leading others, and executing and implementing projects. Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment.
