What you'll do Principal Product Manager - Docusign Cloud Platform is a pivotal role that will engage in strategic collaboration with several key stakeholders to establish a forward-looking multi-year strategy. This role will spearhead the development of the roadmap, vision, and priorities, as well as execution of Docusign Cloud platform and infrastructure initiatives. Furthermore, this role will cultivate a deep understanding of Microservices Framework (MSF) and Infrastructure requirements from internal partners within the company. This position requires a highly driven individual with strong interest and experience in developing Cloud platform and infrastructure. Strong technical, communication and leadership skills will be required to help develop strategies and ongoing platform amp; infrastructure direction. Demonstrated success in the SaaS industry and specific understanding of Microservices Framework is also required. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Technology and Business Operations Director. Responsibility Lead the strategy and roadmap for delivering Docusign MSF Platform initiatives Drive the vision and requirements, and translate them to functional specifications to facilitate a sound design and deliver a delightful partner's experience Represent the MSF Platform team in product roadmap discussions, and ensure that the cost of infrastructure is considered when product roadmaps are being finalized Facilitate requirements definition across teams to create engineering-ready epics, user stories and acceptance criteria while identifying dependencies and relative priority with other initiatives Own market insights on various platforms and infrastructure, staying abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate internal stakeholder's needs Understand and profile high value, innovative use-cases for developers and stakeholders Work closely with B2B and B2I Product and Engineering team to anticipate and identify early opportunities and requirements critical to scaling our platform Monitor, measure, and report on key business and customer's metrics, and identify areas for continuous testing, experimentation and evolution Evaluate and prioritize product roadmap and backlogs in alignment with Engineering teams for effective release and sprint planning Partner with Technical Program Management (TPM) and Engineering to ensure quality features ship on-time Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 15+ years of professional experience in the High-Tech Industry, including 12+ years of experience in managing, designing, and delivering world class platform and infrastructure for SaaS products and services 12+ years of experience in technical product management 12+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fields Experience leading and building Cloud Architecture for Mid to Large sized organizations Experience in fast-paced environments, with a track record of driving critical initiatives and delivering results Preferred Excellent spoken and written communication skills with an ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical Strong analytical thinking and investigative/problem solving capabilities Confident in working with executive team members as well as working with engineers and product owners at all levels Azure related certification Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and delivering solutions Strong negotiation skills with cross-functional teams (influencer) Ability to develop strong cross-team relationships and partnerships in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences Exceptional presentation abilities Strong academic track record, graduate degree or equivalent experience Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $186,200.00 - $276,125.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
