What you will be doing

As a Principal Product Manager - Customer Data Insights, you will be responsible for building products that will deliver customer insights and analytics at scale using AI and ML models to meet the outcomes for internal stakeholders, merchants and suppliers. You will lead and direct large-scale, complex, multi-year product and data/ML roadmaps across executives & stakeholders, with the ability to influence partner teams, data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers. You will need to understand merchant and supplier outcomes from customer insight features to define product needs around predictive analytics, AI-driven recommendations, real-time analytics, and ML-driven features. This position requires a hands-on approach to AI product management along with a blend of strategic leadership, data science and technical knowledge. You will collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders and focus on delivering scalable data & decisioning insights that create value for internal and external customers. 

The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA, Seattle, WA or Dallas, TX.

Main responsibilities

Develop and communicate a clear vision and long-term strategy for building a product structure that activates the AI/ML capabilities across the organization to serve the needs across internal and external users Conduct market research and stakeholder interviews to understand the pain points & opportunities around customer segmentation, data insights, recommendations and data driven decision making  Understand the end customer experience needs from stakeholders from shopper experience, marketing, media collective & experimentation and converting them into a roadmap for our data science team  Build products and frameworks that scale with customer growth and diversity of users, including driving reusable DS and analytics layer components Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to build and deploy large scale AI capabilities to drive cross-functional customer segmentation use cases  Build capabilities that will scale customer insights across personalization, merchants, marketing & media collective.  Closely partner with engineering, design, data science, merchant, media and marketing teams to ensure the product aligns with the activation team needs on customer use cases, is feasible, technically efficient and extensible to future use cases Ensure adoption across stakeholders and activation use cases, leading to improved turnaround time, accuracy and satisfaction for the customer business outcomes

The salary range is $157,900.00 to $205,300.00annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching for

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related area or equivalent AI product management experience in Big Tech 7 years' experience in product management, working on data science driven capabilities building large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products Must understand deep learning-based recommender systems, vector databases and other key concepts in ML/AI Must have experience building products that deliver customer data & data science insights to meet enterprise needs across batch and real-time use cases Hands-on experience in analyzing data to identify issues and create solution approaches in partnership with data science and engineering teams The candidate must have experience working with leaders and team members across business, data science and engineering to drive the product roadmap implementation  Must have executive communication skills to showcase the value of foundational data science capabilities across different business use cases.
