Principal Product Manager with Focus on Debricked

 

Debricked, a key component of OpenText's Application Security portfolio, is a powerful tool designed to help organizations manage and secure their use of open-source software. Debricked enables teams to detect, manage, and remediate vulnerabilities in open-source dependencies, providing seamless integration into the development pipeline. With its robust capabilities, Debricked is recognized for its innovation and impact in the software security space. Additionally, Debricked Open-Source Select offers specialized features for organizations looking to streamline open-source license compliance and governance.

 

YOUR IMPACT 
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of these product offerings within OpenText's Application Security portfolio. You will drive the strategy and execution of innovative solutions designed to help our global customers secure their open-source dependencies and manage risks related to software composition.
Working closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, and marketing—you will ensure that Debricked and Debricked Open-Source Select continue to meet the needs of enterprises navigating the complex landscape of open-source security and compliance. You will lead the development of new features, enhancements, and integrations, positioning the products as industry leaders.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS 

Drive Product Strategy: Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Debricked and Debricked Open Source Select, ensuring that these offerings continue to meet market demands and surpass customer expectations.Work with Key Customers: Build strong relationships with enterprise clients to understand their challenges and ensure that the product roadmap is aligned with their needs.Market Leadership: Position Debricked as the go-to solution for open-source security, leveraging OpenText’s reputation as a leader in Application Security.Drive Innovation: Stay at the forefront of the open-source security and software composition analysis landscape, identifying new trends and opportunities for product innovation.Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact features that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring continuous improvements and alignment with business objectives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

Education: An MSc. in Computer Science or related field.Experience: 12+ years in the enterprise software industry, with at least 5 years of experience in product management, software engineering, or software deployment/usage roles. Specific expertise in software composition analysis, open-source security, and open-source licensing is a must.Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the software composition analysis (SCA) space, open-source security, and open-source licensing. Familiarity with key open-source management tools and platforms is highly desirable.Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Customer Orientation: Strong experience in building relationships with enterprise clients and incorporating customer feedback into product strategy.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English both written and spoken with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate and address product challenges, proactively driving solutions to ensure customer success.International Experience: Comfortable working in an international environment with teams across multiple time zones.
