Principal Product Manager - Tech, Device Software & Services
Description We're seeking a Principal Technical Product Manager to lead transformative initiatives across our device ecosystem. In this strategic role, you'll collaborate with diverse business units and engineering teams to revolutionize how customers configure, set up, and manage their devices for both consumer and enterprise use cases. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in developing sophisticated technical solutions that bridge multiple software systems. You'll work across our entire device portfolio, including Alexa, Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, Fire Tablet, Kuiper, Ring, and other product lines, creating seamless experiences for individual users and business customers alike. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year product strategy - Lead cross-functional initiatives with various stakeholders - Drive innovation in device management and user experience for both consumer and enterprise environments - Design and implement scalable device configuration solutions across different user segments - Oversee complex technical integrations across multiple platforms - Spearhead strategic communication and coordination efforts This role demands a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical products in an environment where multiple stakeholders and systems intersect, with demonstrated ability to balance consumer simplicity with enterprise-grade capabilities. Basic Qualifications - 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience technical product management - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements - Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
