Principal Product Mgr -Tech, ADSP Demand Products
Amazon Advertising team is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead next-generation solutions that enable non-endemic advertisers to reach customers across our owned and operated sites, on other high-quality publisher sites across the web, and on millions of desktops, mobile, and connected TV devices. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including Advertising. We seek candidates who want to join a team focused on building large-scale systems that integrate across multiple sources to provide unique industry leading advertising products that enable advertisers to achieve their goals.

In this role, you will drive the technical design and roadmap for a well-recognized and significant portion of our advertising business. You will coordinate complex product initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through product and business requirements documents. You have a high level of comfort with ambiguity, a deeply analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex challenges, and can effectively influence across organizations. You work backwards from the customer needs, dive deep into data to understand the issues, and drive product development to deliver those needs by working with cross-functional teams. You think big, have a bias for action, and bring a history of delivering results. You use market research, competitive analysis, and direct communication with customers to make informed decisions.

You will work directly with external customers to collect input, mold requirements, and release features. You will drive prioritization across multiple development teams, communication with internal stakeholders, user testing with customers, and the go to market plan with product marketing. You are an evangelist of the platform, promoting new features to clients, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption through sales teams.

The right candidate will have a strong product management or strategy background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large products and projects, will have background in digital advertising, and will have a well-rounded background in current web and mobile technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

As a Product Manager, you will be 100% customer focused, understanding their needs and requirements, plus anticipating future trends that will serve their needs. You will excel at delivering results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

Key job responsibilities
Author a 3 year plan to improve product and experience for non-endemic advertisers
Write PRFAQ's and BRD's that drive the technical design and thinking of our brand products.
Work with engineering, science, and analytics to develop a roadmap with key input-based goals to drive outcomes that meet our advertisers' goals as well as our growth goals.
Work with product marketing, sales specialists, sales, and go-to-market teams to drive our product strategy, launches, and external product perception as a leading advertising solution.
