Your role in support of this journey is driven by working directly with key stakeholders to make strategic decisions that align to our labor transformation enabling a globalized workforce with new roles, responsibilities and titles across IT. **What you'll do** + Oversee and manage multiple cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery of transformation initiatives + Act as a change agent within the organization, developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, thinking and ways of working + Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders, business partners, and team members across the company + Positively influence stakeholders on the transformation strategy by managing expectations, resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment to the transformation goals + Work closely with senior leadership to define the transformation roadmap, aligning with overall business strategy and objectives + Utilize effective change management to minimize resistance, maximize adoption, and generate support of new processes, technologies, and strategies across the organization + Maintain effective communication channels that allow for a supportive feedback process + Manages dependencies and helps prioritize work accordingly + Tracks benefits and manages risks at the program level + Acts as an escalation point for project risks and issues **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training + 5 years of applied work experience in program/project management + 5 years of applied work experience in leading Agile teams **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + ​7 years of applied work experience in program/project management + Proven track record of managing large-scale transformation projects across different functional areas + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels + Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Expertise in agile methodologies such as scrum, kanban, lean, including practical experience in applying these frameworks + A proactive mindset, continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes + Demonstrated familiarity with agile product management tools such as Aha!, Azure DevOps or related tools **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** + Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies and project management disciplines + Broad technical acumen including team collaboration, consultative selling, problem solving and critical thinking + Highly motivated, self-driven, and capable of working collaboratively with various levels of management and internal teams to resolve demanding tasks + Ability to work successfully in a team environment, take initiative, and grasp concepts quickly + Excellent knowledge of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
