Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
Essential Functions:
The selected candidate will report to the Mission Applications Engineering Project Manager and work closely with other Mission Applications leadership (including Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and CAMs) and C2BMC Program Management to ensure product teams have needed staffing requisitions open in the RCB tool and in LM Brass Ring.Understand staffing demand for all product teams. Candidate will be responsible for reviewing all submitted candidates and working with product teams to interview and select qualified candidates for open positions.This will also involve working with LM Recruiters and LM L-code personnel to identify qualified candidates and submit to the RCB tool.The selected candidate will also work with C2BMC partner and sub-contract managers to provide additional information on requisitions and candidate status.In addition, the selected candidate will represent the MA/RA at the Resource Control Board and compile staffing metrics for the Mission Applications ART and present to the Sr Resource Manager at their weekly staffing meeting.The selected candidate may be asked to assist with other software development metric collection and reporting to assist product teams and leadership.Salary Range for Huntsville: $87,000 - $130,600
Salary Range for Colorado Springs: $82,900 - $124,300

6 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 4 years' experience with a master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; or 10 years' experience in lieu of a degreeProficient with Microsoft Office/365 toolsWill need to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets and create PowerPoint charts and graphsExperience collecting and collating metrics from various sourcesStrong communication skills including speaking and writingUnderstanding of how to handle program staffing needsExperience with Resource Control Board Tools, Data and ProcessesPreferred Qualifications:
Familiar with other C2BMC processes is desiredSalary Range: $82,900.00 - $130,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
