The role

As a Principal Project Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll draw upon a specialised depth and breadth of expertise to undertake complex assignments and provide technical leadership and direction to the planning function within the project team, providing guidance and direction to junior Project Planners. You'll also lead teams of professional associates within your discipline, ensuring quality and consistency of all planning and associated reporting

 

Day-to-day, you’ll:

Engage with a wide spectrum of stakeholders including Project Managers, Control Account Managers, Project Controllers, customers and wider project stakeholders Oversee a team of junior Project Planners,  providing guidance and direction and ensuring that project deliverables are met Report into the area Project Controls Manager

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days onsite and 3 working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Principal Project Planner

Demonstrable relevant experience in all aspects of project planning Experience of specialist planning software Primavera P6 Relevant experience in the management of Project Planner teams Previous experience of working within highly regulated environments
