Northrop Grumman’s Sentinel Business Unit is looking for Principal Public Relations Representative to serve as a liaison between key suppliers and the program, as well as coordinate among strategic advocacy groups to support ongoing community engagement. This role would strategically advise and counsel communications and program leadership, while also leveraging compelling tactics to engage and influence community advocacy efforts and supplier communications efforts. This role would also support distinguished visitor engagements. This role will be based out of Roy, UT; McLean, VA; or Huntsville; AL. This role can support a hybrid work scheduling, working out of one of the listed offices a majority of the week.

Responsibilities:
• Support the community advocacy communications plan in partnership with customers and key internal customers.
• Coordinate and develop an ongoing supplier communications strategy.
• Serve as a generalist within the business unit to support tactics in alignment with the communications plan.
• Identify and develop internal and external story telling opportunities.
• Demonstrate your strong writing, editing and digital communications skills.
• Collect and analyze data, make recommendations to improve our approach and the results of future communications, events and activities.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships.

• 5 plus years with Bachelors; 3 plus years with Masters; 1 plus year with PhD.
• Experience in executing both internal and external strategic communications campaigns.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Affinity for developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Strong business presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with multiple teams and leaders.
• Must possess excellent writing, storytelling, grammar, and proofreading skills, strong problem solving, organizational skills and highly detailed-orientated.
• Experience leveraging data to create and execute communications strategies, plans, programs and events.
• Energetic team presence with an eagerness to learn and recommend new and innovative ideas to foster strategic objectives.
• Understanding of AP writing style.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance
• Travel up to 25%
Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $136,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
