Job Description:
As the Senior QA Manager, you will play a vital role in guaranteeing the exceptional quality and dependability of software across the enterprise. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, effectively communicating and engaging with all stakeholders – from developers and designers to product owners and executives – regardless of their technical expertise or seniority. A strong foundation in software engineering principles and a proven track record of hands-on technical experience are essential.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage: Oversee a high-performing QA team of over 40 manual and automation engineers, directing all aspects of software quality, including test planning, case development, coverage analysis, and regression management.
Drive Quality Strategy: Develop and own the overall QA strategy, methodology, and framework, with a strong focus on advancing automated testing capabilities and enhancing team efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-departmental leadership (e.g., development, product, operations) to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that meet business objectives.
Champion Test Automation: Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of an enterprise-wide test automation framework to optimize testing processes and accelerate release cycles.
Establish and Maintain Quality Standards: Define, implement, and enforce rigorous quality standards across all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring products meet stringent reliability, quality, and security requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in automated QA environments, with expertise in Specflow, C#, and other relevant testing tools.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role comparable to the responsibilities outlined in this position description.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent interaction with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
A strong automation-driven mindset with a relentless focus on continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and velocity.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles and their application to robust, maintainable, and high-performance automated tests.
Proven experience working within Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps environments, collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $145,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
