The **Principal Scientist** supports the Manufacturing organization by facilitating efficient operations in the production area, optimizing existing processes, and ensuring production goals are met. Develops and/or identifies new work processes that will have broad applicability throughout the company. + Contributes ideas for improving work processes and achieving organizational goals. + Investigates and solves problems that impact work processes and personnel in multiple units or departments. + Develops and communicates a vision for a major segment of the organization. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field. + Minimum 10 + years of progressively responsible positions in a research development environment. + Very likely to have advanced degrees M.S or PhD + Practical Lab Skills with increasing knowledge complexity with experience + More advanced Problem –solving skills with experience. + Has good knowledge of science and the ability to apply more complex and advanced principles and techniques with experience. + Accountability/ Scope: Contributes to project plan. Responsible for more complex project completion.
