Our organization oversees and guides the company on security architecture, engineering, tools, penetration testing, vulnerability management, hardware and software compliance, risk management, incident response, and multiple other areas.

Your Role

Coordinate the design and cross-service security architecture in our product portfolioInterface with key stakeholders, including Product Management, on the emerging customer and industry needsEnsure alignment and provide technical direction and leadership of security deliverables within the productBe passionate about the security industry and emerging technologies with a bias toward education and collaboration with both senior and junior developers alikeConstantly push product teams, and Engineering leadership, toward best practices, delivery of emerging technologies in the security space, being an evangelist for our customer and product security postureLeading the development of security features, improvements and reduction of technical debt, constantly interfacing with executive leadership, sales, support, product managementMentoring other software and security engineers and architects

 

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or PhD degree in Computer Science (preferred) or another technical discipline/equivalent experienceAt least 20 years of industry experience or equivalent security and development experienceSolid history of product team leadership and deliveryStrong coding skills are desired, although not required for this positionExtensive knowledge of UNIX/LinuxExtensive knowledge of hardware technologies and their relationship with virtualizationFamiliarity with OS internals and concepts of distributed systemsFamiliarity with x86 architecture, virtualization, and/or storage and network management

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 288,000 and USD $ 576,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
