Principal SIOP Planner

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Build a consistent, firm-wide culture of process excellence to eliminate loss of revenues and margins caused by the lack of a centralized and integrated planning process. Design best-in-class and fit for purpose SIOP planning processes that standardize planning across the enterprise and enables integrated / E2E supply chain visibility. Develop policies, procedures, playbooks, and standardized tools & templates to be used by IDSC & BP teams at both central and segment levels for harmonized SIOP process. Design process audit templates & SOPs, define audit cadence, eligibility, auditor’s responsibilities and stakeholders to be involved in the audits (including auditors and reviewers), for compliance monitoring. Consolidate feedback and drive continuous improvement, lean and sustainability initiatives for planning processes and procedures. Establish process for cross-functional segment planning council, develop assets to be used by the council and define structure to be used to resolve cross-BU / Segment /cross-functional dependencies. Govern the adoption of IDSC&BP (Integrated Supply Chain and Business Planning) operating model and underlying processes, policies and best practices across segments and their BUs. Perform process audits to monitor compliance of defined planning processes. Harmonize current pockets of process excellence found across BUs to ensure cross-sharing of best practices and establishment of consistent planning practices throughout the firm. Communicate key process excellence programs to the Segment / BU / Site leadership to drive adoption of defined processes. Interact with the BU / Site planning leads to understand existing systems and processes and gather feedback to define and prioritize CI initiatives for process excellence team. Play the role of SMEs to site planning leads while they execute the process, and leverage inputs from such interactions to drive process improvement through continuous improvement, lean and sustainability initiatives.

Education & Experience

Minimum 9 yr. experience with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum 7 yr. experience with Master's Degree

Skills

Process design and op model design experience Supply Chain and SIOP process experience Experience with process improvement related tools (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, DMAIC/DMADV, 8D, etc.) Proficient in SIOP processes and systems Strong familiarity and working knowledge of the Oracle SCM module Certifications: Six-Sigma, PMP Working knowledge of process improvement related methodologies (e.g., SDLC, CMMI, TOGAF, Agile, etc.)
