YOUR IMPACT:
We are looking for a Principal Software Architect who will take a leadership role in defining and driving the architectural direction of our ESM product suite. This is a high-growth business, and our solutions are used by enterprise class highly demanding customers across the globe. We are using a Microservices based architecture composed of multiple services running on Kubernetes using Docker Containers.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for designing highly scalable, flexible, and secure enterprise-grade systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet both current and future business needs while aligning with industry best practices.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
Lead the architecture and design of complex, scalable, and secure ESM solutions. Define system architectures, design principles, and patterns that support business goals and technical requirements.Define and drive the overall technical vision for the product, ensuring that all software systems and components align with company goals and are capable of scaling in a multi-tenant, global environment.Be the final authority on key technical decisions, ensuring that architecture is not only robust but also adaptable to changing business needs. Establish and enforce architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices across the engineering teams.Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineering leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure clear and continuous communication of architectural decisions and their rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Drive the continuous evolution of the ESM platform to keep it competitive and ensure it supports future business objectives. Design systems that integrate with various third-party applications and support automation, service integration, and seamless customer experiences.Mentor and guide engineering teams, helping them to implement architectural designs and make informed technical decisions. Promote best practices in system design, performance optimization, and scalability.Design for high availability, fault tolerance, and performance at scale. Ensure that the product architecture can handle growing user demands while maintaining robust security, data integrity, and compliance.Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development lifecycle. Ensure that proper controls are in place to minimize risk exposure related to scalability, security, and performance.Continuously research emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose innovations and improvements to the architecture to keep the company at the forefront of the ESM space.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.18+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in a Architect roleStrong knowledge in microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
Mandatory Skills:
Expertise in system design, architecture patterns and distributed systemsDeep understanding of Cloud technologies, API Design and Integration patternsExtensive experience in designing and developing secure, scalable, cloud-native applications (preferably with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP).Deep understanding of microservices architecture and Restful API design using Dockers and KubernetesKnowledge of security best practices for enterprise applications.Ability to scope discussions and effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levelsAbility to demonstrate effective teamwork both within the immediate team and across teams.Expertise in Core and Advanced JAVA Programming, Spring (Boot, REST, JPA), HibernateDeveloping Application UI and backend features independently using React/Angular and JavaScriptKnowledge of UI frameworks like Angular or AngularJS or React.Experience working with RDBMS Databases such as Oracle, MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQLExperience in working with version control and build tools like GIT , Maven and Jenkins.Excellent knowledge of Cloud Computing and SaaS model.Experience working in public cloud technologies - (AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred).Very strong communication skills

Experience with Enterprise Service Management (ESM) or IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms or ITOM platforms(e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.).Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) frameworks.Understanding of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
