Responsibilities

In this role, you will enable development teams by driving design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and providing direct guidance to more junior team members. You can go from high level system design, writing architectural documentation and driving engineering peer reviews to hands-on prototyping, code reviews and project bootstrapping.

You are technically strong and get a lot done. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements. You’ve made life easier for other developers and have motivated your teams to make both process and service improvements with your ability to automate and instrument your service. You understand operational excellence and how to instill a culture of high quality and customer focus.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent  Minimum 10 years in a software-engineering related position Full Stack developer having experience in Python, Javascript, OJet / React Experience in developing and designing solutions with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. 8+ years of java development experience Solid experience with Microservice, REST API development Solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence Working experience in Cloud, GIT, DevOps practices, including CI / CD and test automation Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals. Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures. Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating cloud services. Cloud experience is needed Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely Experience working closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality. Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred) Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience driving security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers from inception through launch Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
