Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced TM1 Developer who possesses a background in data analytics, financial planning and accounting, and forecasting to work in the Northrop Grumman Products Portfolio Office. This role can be 100% virtual/work from home.

The selected candidate will design, build, test, deploy and maintain multiple IBM Cognos Planning Analytics based models to meet financial planning and forecasting business requirements throughout the monthly and annual financial cycles.

Primary responsibilities

Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to clearly articulate and understand application requirementsDeliver reliable, scalable, and efficient business solutions by supporting all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, modeling & design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentationDocument and analyze business requirements, procedures, and/or problems to improve systemsDefine solutions based on requirements in partnership with the Functional team and assist in estimating functional and testing work

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experienceMust have Development experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)Skilled in all aspects of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) for development and implementation of Planning Analytics modelsPossess expertise in Financial and Accounting practices and standards; Translate Finance and Accounting knowledge into the technical objectives required to meet business modeling needsAbility to apply ingenuity, innovation and advanced technical expertise to find solutions to complex business needs within the functionality of the IBM Cognos product set (PAW, PAfE, Architect); develop new design concepts when neededExperience interfacing with stakeholders for clarification, development and testing of requirements with minimal supervisionAbility to produce and maintain detailed technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryWorking knowledge of cost accounting principles, GAAP and government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) preferredStrong interpersonal skills to work with internal customs in achieving effective solutionsAbility to deliver quality solutions that are consistent with the organization’s need and objectives, while avoiding rework

Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
