Northrop Grumman is looking for a Principal Software Development Analyst to configure, install, and maintain web systems for web-based applications. As part of our high-performing and skilled team, you will participate in cutting-edge plans to empower employees and build on success while transforming the client relationship. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, integrity, and performance of all systems components, such as applications and database and web servers while operating as a part of a supportive and accomplished application development team.

This role can be located in San Diego, California, Redondo Beach, California or Roy, Utah and does not offer telecommuting.

Common Tasks:

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

Associate's degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience; (a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.)

Must have US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)

Active DoD Secret security clearance with last investigation less than 5 years, and the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)

Server/Client SW installation

Possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II (Security+, etc) or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Proficient in the development of technical solutions such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.

Understanding of general networking principles.

Cloud architecture and integration experience.

Experience with the Automated Testing Framework (ATF) and developing scripts.

Excellent communication skills

Exposure to web-based software development or operations

Internet Information Services (IIS) experience

Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
