Principal Software Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled and innovative Principal Software Engineer - Java candidate with experience in Java, Cloud Applications, AI/ML, Database, and Kubernetes to join our team in Bangalore.

You will report to the Director, Development.

You will work with the Integration AI Team.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

Design and develop scalable, cloud-native solutions for AI-powered workflow automations, schema intelligence & GenAI integrations. Collaborate, and develop programming environment with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features. Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined. Champion software engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and automation. Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements. Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules. Be an amazing performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace. Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.

What We'd Like to See

Experience with cloud-native development and deployment processes. Experience with Kubernetes stack. Experience in GenAI, RAG pipelines and schema intelligence. 8+ years of experience developing enterprise software products using Java technologies. Excellent coding and design skills in Java server-side technologies, object-oriented concepts, and Java open-source frameworks are mandatory. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React and modern UI development Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative mindset.

Role Essentials

Experience in Java, Cloud applications, database concepts Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and Vector databases. Familiarity with the Agile development process. Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
