​​Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational and non-relational.​

​​The Azure PostgreSQL databases team is hiring Principal Software Engineer to be part of PostgreSQL Engine team. We are looking for a hands-on engineer with experience in database internals, have experience in building distributed database systems at cloud scale. PostgreSQL internals and Linux experience is preferred for this role.
