We seek a Principal Software Engineer who will work closely with a tenured experienced team of software, firmware, hardware engineers and architects as well as customers who are very intimate with Honeywell’s Control Distributed Control System and technologies. The candidate must demonstrate technical breadth and depth in the Systems products offered by Honeywell Life Cycle Solutions and Services (LSS) and Experion. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in elicitation and negotiation of the product requirements with the customers and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

\nCollaborate with Honeywell Forge team on requirements and architecture required for LSS Services offering. Oversee Forge incorporation in LSS products.Work with Offering Management and Technology team to derive Software as a Service offerings and expand the LSS Services portfolio.Work with the Technology team to develop and implement a comprehensive LSS Software Architecture strategy.Assist in Analysis of Experion cross-team requirements.Drive Experion innovation leveraging Microsoft technologies.\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.\n10+ years of experience in Product development engineering.\nAbility to understand, learn and maintain Large Software and Systems solutions.\nExperience in developing Full-stack cloud and micro-services software.\nGood knowledge in Microsoft technologies such as Windows, .NET, Visual Studio, Azure, etc.\nAbility to write C, C++, windows, and/or embedded Linux code.\n\n

WE VALUE
