You can help us achieve our mission. **Responsibilities** + Develop and support secure Cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft and Open-Source technologies across the entire ecosystem. + Innovate with team stakeholders to rapidly build solutions for effective and efficient analysis and investigative insights. + Investigate and evangelize technologies to help solve problems simply and efficiently. + Evangelize technologies that benefit the group and increase efficiencies in achieving mission objectives. + Provide mentorship to other engineers and team members to foster an inclusive and learning environment. + Embrace a growth mindset capable of growing one’s skills and knowledge to stay up to date with emerging technologies. **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + 6+ years of experience developing software using the Microsoft Stack, including using modern design practices to secure your software. + 6+ years of experience working with object-oriented languages like C#, Java, or interpreted object-oriented languages like Python. + Multi-platform, end-to-end experience across a wide spectrum of cloud technologies in Azure. + 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, building, and running services at scale using modern DevOps practices. **Other Requirements** Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Preferred Skills and Qualifications:** + Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance + Experience architecting, designing, and building full stack solutions using modern Frontend, Middle-tier, and Backend technologies in Azure. + Experience using modern DevOps best practices, including automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment/monitoring (Git and Azure DevOps or GitHub preferred). + Experience troubleshooting and using failure analysis for live-site incident mitigation. + Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with others. + Curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and collaborate to grow yourself and your teammates. + Passion to learn emerging technologies and architect innovative cloud-based solutions to challenging problems. + Previous experience with shipping + Previous experience shipping containerized software using Docker or experience with container orchestration using either K8 or AKS. Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
