We are looking for a talented architect to shape the future of our customer solutions and cross-functional systems integration solutions. The job’s location can be Cyberjaya, Malaysia, or Prague, Czech Republic.


How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
\n\nInnovate and Lead: Drive alignment between cutting-edge business needs and a blend of modern and legacy IT architectures in the areas of
\n\nDigital customer solutions\n\nIntegration to customer’s IT systems – API, EDI\nExternally facing applications
\n\n\nInternal cross-functional systems integration\n\nEnterprise-wide portfolio of APIs\nEvent-driven architecture
\n\n\n\n\nArchitecture Steward: Author and review solution architecture documentation, ensuring adherence to internal and customer-facing standards.
\nCollaborate and Influence: Partner with business stakeholders to define and refine requirements that influence architectural decisions.
\nBe a Trusted Advisor: Communicate technical trade-offs to build confidence in decision-making for both immediate and future business goals. Support product owners in roadmap planning.
\nGlobal Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones, both remotely and in-person.
\n\n\n

Do you have what it takes?
\n\nAcademic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
\nExperience: 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on multi-disciplined architecture, systems integration, and digital transformation.
\nMethodic Thinker: Familiarity with specific architecture management frameworks, integration patterns, and system design methodologies.
\nTechnical Mastery: Respected hands-on expert in several of these areas:
\n\nProgramming\nData modeling\nStructured data storage & querying\nMessaging middleware\nAPI gateways\nWeb application development (frontend and/or backend)
\n\n\nCommunication & Leadership: You can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n\nFlex your communication style to best connect to your audience in a variety of contexts\nHave experience authoring and interpreting with main types of diagrams used in business analysis and IT solution design\nTranslate between levels of data model abstraction
\n\n\nAdaptability: You enjoy finding out what you didn’t know and are ready to adjust the plan when you find something new. You don’t mind filling a gap between formal responsibilities if that’s the right thing to do.
\nIndustry Knowledge: Knowledge of the transport industry or a related field is a plus.
