We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Solution Architect with a strong background in design and development, telecom technology transformation experience, and over 8 years of architecture/design experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and communication skills, be technically savvy with end-to-end solution design experience using modeling tools like Sparx, and have familiarity with TMF (TeleManagement Forum) standards. You will take ownership and lead the architecture vision and roadmaps for both the current platform and a modernized, cloud-native platform. You will lead evaluations of vendor’s products that may be required to support new products and services. Candidate will help execute on this vision and roadmap by developing solutions that progress AT&T towards the target architecture. The primary areas of focus will be in transforming AT&T’s customer experience for mobility (4G/LTE/5G) and broadband products and services. **Key Responsibilities:** + Define the technical solution and ensure alignment with business and technical objectives. + Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution. + Work closely with Enterprise Architects and System Engineers to ensure that program and product strategies align with business goals. + Facilitate important design decisions for development teams, acting as a local authority. + Specify the components and their interactions that comprise the End-to-End Integrated Architecture. + Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define high-level solutions. + Determine primary components and subsystems, analyze technical trade-offs, and identify interfaces and collaborations. + Define higher-level functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs) and establish a shared technical and architectural vision focused on creating technical alignment for the full solution. + Work with portfolio stakeholders, customers, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and development teams to align architectural direction. + Establish an incremental implementation strategy and technical foundation for the architectural runway. + Apply abstraction and generalization to preserve architectural flexibility. + Ensure common technology, design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable. + Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns, and influence common modeling, design, and coding practices. **Education:** + Preferred: Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience. **Qualifications:** + Typically requires 8-10 years of architecture/design experience + Strong background in design and development + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Telecom technology transformation experience preferred + Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams + Cloud and SaaS integration experience desired, Salesforce, Azure or AWS + 4G/LTE/5G and/or broadband knowledge desired + Familiarity with 3gpp and/or TMForum standards a plus + Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect experience a plus + Experience with Einstein AI, LLM, Gen AI is a plus. + Familiarity with TMF (TeleManagement Forum). Certifications are a plus. Our Principal Solution Architecture, earns between $141,300.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
