Develops solution architectures for AT&T business customers to address their business, application and communications needs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The Lead Solutions Architect must be proficient at the techniques that go into the formulation of solutions, including collecting customer requirements and assessing solution alternatives based on tradeoffs in cost, performance, reliability and security, and be able to partner with the sales team to recommend the most appropriate solution for the customer.
This requires practical skills and experience with many applications and technologies, and a thorough knowledge of the AT&T product set.
The Lead Solutions Architect analyzes a customers business and network challenges and designs a comprehensive solution that integrates smoothly into the customers environment.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, acts with autonomy in managing work load and provides leadership in acting on a sales opportunity.
The Lead Solutions Architect will lead solution engagements in promoting the cause of new services in order to achieve buy-in from the enterprises management, seeking to create new opportunities and business relationships.
Beyond the core skills of a Senior Solutions Architect, the Lead Solutions Architect must also be proficient in exercising technical leadership which requires the ability to accept responsibility for the success of the customer solution, coordinate resources that are often not directly under their control, and provide the support necessary to ensure overall success.
The Lead Solutions Architect demonstrates applied knowledge in the engagement of complex projects which include efforts that require cross- organizational/business partner/multiple customer or multi-vendor coordination.
This job requires demonstrated expertise of how to apply architectural thinking to mission, strategy, and vision in innovative ways that deliver positive impact and results to the business.
Manages solution design with internal and external suppliers in a manner that is consistent with customer needs and in line with competitive realities.
Demonstrates good written skills to document solutions in proposals to customers, and possesses strong verbal skills to be able to present solutions to customers at both working and executive levels.
Demonstrates strong customer interface skills and is technically credible working in a sales environment.
Required to maintain a baseline of industry knowledge to advise on technical trends and techniques and apply them to the development of solutions.
Education:
Requires a bachelors degree.
Experience:
Requires 8 - 10 years of experience developing or recommending technical solutions.
Requires multiple industry and technical certifications based on solutions that customer requires.

Our Lead Financial Analysis, earn between $158,200 - $237,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
