**Job Overview:** The Principal Source Inspection Spec is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex Source Inspection-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. They may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and are regarded as a specialist in the field of Source Inspection. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in Source Inspection as well as broad knowledge of the Source Inspection discipline within the Supply Chain function. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Act as the focal point contact to manage source inspection activities for current assignments on the Projects + Provide support to Project Lead Source Inspection Specialist to deliver the project within the stipulated budget and time + Ensure implementation of the source inspection process and coordination / execution plan + Review Client specifications, and technical documents, and clarify the inspection scope at the bid stage to the suppliers + Participate in Source Inspection alignment processes with the Project Management Team + Review of Material Requisition (MR), Purchase Requisition (PR), and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) as applicable per project requirements + Review supplier documents ITP, applicable procedures and ensure completeness of manufacturing data records + Coordinate to Identify qualified inspector and issue assignment package to TPI Coordinator + Manage inspection notifications and coordinate with Suppliers, Clients, and TPI + Participate in Kick-off meetings, Lead the Pre-inspection meeting, and attend critical inspection stages as per approved ITP + Prepare the look-ahead schedule and Monthly Project Inspection reports for submission to the Client + Inspection database + Assist in the disposition of NCR / AOC and maintain NCR log + Ensure the distribution of Inspection reports after review and facilitate the issuance of Inspection release notes after the confirmed close out of NCRs & Punch lists + Track budgeted project hours / cost with Actual incurred cost on a routine basis + Facilitate Supplier Performance Evaluation as required + Undertake surveys and audits of manufacturing facilities where necessary + Complete close out of all Source Inspection assignments + Act as the focal point for supplier quality on assigned purchase orders **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in, Engineering, Industrial Operations, or Welding preferred + Minimum of 10 years in Coordination preferably in the EPC business or QC / Mechanical engineering experience or oil and gas experience in the Source Inspection Field / QC Inspection / suitable Engineering background + Prefer to have CSWIP / AWS, ASNT / ISO 9712 Level II or III, NACE / BGAS / FROSIO Level II, API Certification, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor etc. + Understanding of Contracts, project engineering, construction, project management, and cost control + Time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills + Source Inspection operational tools and systems \#LI-RH1 Lutech Resources has over 25 years’ experience providing tailor made recruitment and integrated resource management to leading Engineering, Energy and Manufacturing sector companies worldwide.
